Youth Observation Contest

We did a specific study on Shenzhen's "urban village," a common phenomenon that resulted from the juxtaposition of rapid urbanization and remaining buildings in past forms. We chose Shuiwei, the urban village beside the old campus of Shenzhen College of Education, as our target of observation.

Global Perspective Project

Me and my classmates in my Global Perspective Class took an investigation that aimed to help the people in need in Shenzhen, raising people's awareness of community care and be helpful to each other.

Carleton Summer Program

I attended Carleton College's Summer Institute in the Summer of 2023, encountering Machiavelli and Montaigne with Professor William North. I wrote a paper on the downfall of the Florentine Republic from 1527 to 1532 with reference to Machiavellian theories and my own interpretations of that event. The following video is a part of my final presentation on this topic.
